Sports: Track

The Tire Recycle Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Amy Todoruk of the Neepawa Tigers track team.

This 5’8” sprinter set personal best in the 60m and 200m races at the high school indoor track meet, capturing bronze in both events.  Coach Bryce Koscielny states, “Amy has been working incredibly hard this season to get faster and she's been able to set new personal bests race after race. Her commitment and sacrifices are paying off and it's exciting to see how fast she can run! Hopefully this trend keeps up heading into the outdoor season. She's a great listener who applies the information that her coaches give her and she's accepting of all forms of feedback.”

This Grade 12 student maintains a 95% average, while also participating in Fastpitch.
