Paige Small

Treherne (A)

Sports: Basketball

This 5’2” guard has been averaging 24 points and 6 steals per game.  She has help lead her Tigers team to the tournament championships at the Elm Creek and Carman tournaments.  She was selected tournament MVP at both events, while also receiving All-Star recognition at the Tigers home tournament.  Coach Dave Matskiw states, “Paige is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached. Her level of commitment and desire to improve as a player and team leader is unmatched. However, what her stats don't show is how integral she is to the composure of her team as she plays point guard and works to control the tempo of the game and find ways to get her teammates involved while also setting the tone for her team's defensive intensity”.

This grade 12 student maintains a 96% average, while also participating in cross country, volleyball, badminton, fastball, and track & field.
