Nadine Damphousse

Nadine Damphousse

St. Jean-Baptiste (A)

Sports: Badminton

This 5’3” girls singles player has placed first at two Carman tournaments and the Zone 4 South Regionals while also placing second at the Louis Riel tournament.  She also picked up a girls doubles tournament win with partner Alexandria Tetrault at the St. Jean Baptiste doubles tournament.  Coach Marc Morin states, “Nadine has demonstrated tremendous dedication and passion for the sport of badminton over the years. All this work and dedication is finally paying off. Not only does she display great technical abilities but she's also a model for our team with her great sportsmanship. Nadine suffered from a ruptured appendix in early March, thus depriving her of competing at the Manitoba Winter Games. Because of her determination, she is on the comeback trail and still hoping to achieve her goal”.

This grade 12 student maintains an 85% average, while also participating in volleyball.
