Manitoba's Credit Unions Scholar Athlete

Jordan Nostedt of Neelin High School (Brandon), participates in volleyball and basketball.  Jordan was a selected as an All-Star at both the Volleyball and Basketball Provincial Championships as well as being named to the graduating All-Star team in both sports.  He maintains a 92 % academic average.  Jordan was selected as the Most Valuable Player in the Graduating All-Star Game for basketball and is a recipient of a McDonald’s BEST Basketball Scholarship, as well as being a finalist for the Governor General Award.

Jordan states, “High school sports plays a huge role in the development of young individuals into outstanding citizens in our community…..I look back and sports have been the main force in the shaping of who I am as a person.  It is these memories and friendships along with the life lessons taken from sport, that I will forever cherish and remember when I think back to high school.”
