Manitoba's Credit Unions Scholar Athlete

Kathleen Vitt, of Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School participates in volleyball, track and field, soccer and badminton.  She was named captain of her volleyball team that captured the Provincial “AAAA” Championship, and was selected as a graduating All-star.  Kathleen was also co-captain of her soccer team and maintains a 93% academic average, earning honours with distinction.

Kathleen states, “I have participated in organized school athletics for as long as I can remember.  Sports are, and will always be, one of my greatest passions in life.  The importance of high school sport, and the benefits I have received from my school years lived through sport are immeasurable.  High School sports has taught me the value of  
commitment and dedication.  In order to be a true teammate, whom others will respect, showing commitment and dedication at every practice and game is imperative.”
