Holly Kroeker, of Boissevain School, participates in volleyball, basketball, badminton and fastball.  Her volleyball team made it to the provincial championship, where she was selected as an all-star, while her basketball team captured the provincial championship and she was named Most Valuable Player, and selected as the Players’ Choice Award winner.  She was also a member of the Graduating All-Star volleyball team and her basketball team received an NBA Sportsmanship Award.  Holly maintains a 95% average and is involved with many school committees including the grad decorating committee, singing O’Canada at home games and student government.  She plays guitar and sings in a church group.

Holly states, “High School athletics have been a huge benefit to me because they have allowed me to get to know people in my school that I would not have otherwise gotten to know.  You grow up so close to your teammates because you are with them all the time.  The friendships that I have built through sports are something that I will never give up.  School sports has taught me how to organize my time and my school work.  It is hard to balance friends, school and sports and it has taken self discipline to accomplish a working equation.”
