Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Christyn Frischbutter of the Landmark 96ers Volleyball team is this week’s Tri-Star Rural High School athlete of the week. This 5’9” left side led her team to the Treherne Tournament Championship. She was dominant from the left side with 10 kills and 6 services aces in the finals against St. Claude. Coach Rob Giesbrecht states, “Christyn is a gifted athlete who leads by example with her hard work and commitment to the team. She is dedicated to getting better every time she is on the court. She has an amazing ability to make the right play at the right time”. This grade 12 student maintains an average of 95%, while also competing in fastball and curling.
