Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Dylan Reinheimer of the John Taylor Pipers hockey team.

So far this season, this right wing/center has lead the Pipers to the championship at the Sturgeon Heights tournament, to the finals at the Crocus Plains tournament and most recently to a win over the #1 Ranked Oak Park Raiders.  In 20 games played this season he has 17 goals, and 8 assist, for 25 points.  Coach Justin Steeves states, “Highs are never too high and lows are never to low, Dylan shows this as a leader on our team and is very consistent with his play. Whether we are up or down in goals he works hard every shift and makes a difference”.

This grade 12 student is an Assistant Captain with the Pipers.
