Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Adrianna Proulx of the R.D. Parker Trojans basketball team in Thompson.

This 5’10” guard/forward lead her team to 4 tournament victories this season at Sanford, The Pas, Thompson, and Brandon University tournaments, and to the consolation championship of the Pembina Trails tournament. She received tournament MVP at Sanford and Thompson and tournament all-star at Brandon University and Pembina trails.  Coach Sara Gillis states, “Adrianna is a pleasure to coach. She is an exceptional athlete who still continues to grow in her game every day, bringing with her a positive attitude. She is constantly goal setting and striving to achieve those goals. She is always working to bring her game to the next level”. 

This Grade 11 student maintains an 82% average, while also participating in volleyball.
