Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Hannah Enns of the Westgate Wings basketball team.

This 5’11” guard lead Westgate to the tournament Championship at Morris and to a 2nd place finish at the Linden Christian tournament in the last 2 weekends. She averaged 25.6 points and 11.3 rebounds per game through the 6 games. Coach Jennifer How states, “Hannah is a tremendous student of the game.  She has worked extremely hard over the last year to improve all aspects of her game. She took great pride in being part of the juvenile team that captured the National Championship this last summer. Her hard work has made her a threat from all positions on the floor”. 

This grade 12 student maintains an 87% academic average, while also participating in volleyball.
