Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Stefanie Lasuik of the Warren Wildcats Golf team is this week’s Tri-Star Rural High School athlete of the week. Lasuik shot the girls low round at the Zone 5 Golf Championships for the fourth consecutive year, shooting a 44 at Hecla Golf Course. While doing so, she also helped Warren Collegiate to capture their fourth consecutive Zone 5 Title. Coach Ryan Margetts states, Stefanie is continuing on after a strong summer of golf, where she also placed top 3 in the MJT rankings in Manitoba for the girls under 19 category”. This grade 12 student maintains an average of 97%, while also competing in volleyball, badminton, basketball and track & field.
