Athlete of the Year

Atoosa Jalayeri of Vincent Massey Collegiate (Winnipeg) - was captain of both her Volleyball and Basketball teams.  She was the provincial MVP and helped her team to the gold medal at the Basketball Provincials.  She was named to the Graduating All-Star basketball team as well as receiving several All-Star awards at basketball tournaments. Atoosa was selected by the other players to receive the Players Choice award.  She is president of the student council, and is part of the Grad and Fashion Show committee.  Atoosa also participates in band, Youth in Philanthropy.  She participates in her local church activity nights and coaches Jr. Bison Basketball.  She will be attending the University of Manitoba.
