Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athletes of the Week is Cassandra Bosc of the Vincent Massey Trojans badminton team.

This girls doubles player, recently won the WWAC girls doubles championships and then moved on to claim the Provincial Girls Doubles Championships as well.  Her efforts also contributed to the Trojans winning the Provincial Badminton Championships Aggregate title.  Coach Joanne Goodwin states, “Since joining Massey Badminton during her grade 9 year, Cassie has been dedicated to improving all aspect of her game. She is a pleasure to work with, and is a wonderful role model. Cassie’s great shots, focus, and composure helped her and Joely come back from the B side to win the MHSAA Girls’ Doubles Provincial Championships.”

This grade 11 student maintains a 94% average.
