Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Serge Girouard of the Miles Macdonell Buckeyes volleyball team. 

This 6’1” setter led the buckeyes to an undefeated record at the University of Winnipeg tournament this past weekend, earning him tournament MVP honours.  Coach Tim Au States, “Serge is a great role model and leader for his teammates. Serge may not be the most vocal leader, but he leads by example. While Serge is very respectful to others, he also has earned the utmost respect and admiration from his teammates.”

This grade 12 student maintains a 95% average.
