Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Nicole Wondrasek of the Major Pratt Trojans volleyball team in Russell.

This 5’10” middle hitter led the Trojans to tournament victories at both the Garden Valley and Goose Lake tournaments.  She currently leads the team in blocks and was named the tournament MVP at the Roblin tournament.  Coach Cheri Totte states, “Nicole always has a positive attitude and plays with a lot of heart. She is the team leader on and off the court and leads by example. She is the type of player that any coach would love to have on their team.”

This grade 12 student maintains an 88% average.
