Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Kayla Wandowich of the St. Boniface Centurions volleyball team.

This 5’8” Middle has lead the Centurions to a second place finish in the Kildonan East tournament, a win at the College Beliveau tournament, and an undefeated start to the Zone 12 season.  Coach Maria Marinelli states, “Kayla is one of those rare athletes who are able to make everyone on the team better, and is a great leader on and off the court. She is always encouraging her teammates and ensures that everyone on the team plays an important role.”

This grade 10 student maintains a 90% average, while also participating in basketball, soccer, badminton, and track & field.
