Payworks Coach of the Month

Riley Kemp of Cartwright School has been selected Payworks RuralCcoach of the Month for November. 

He is a high school math and science teacher, and girls volleyball coach at Cartwright school.  

He coached his varsity girls volleyball team to an undefeated record in zone play, and the girls also won a tournament and placed 2nd in another. The girls recently won the title of zone 6 volleyball champions and won the banner for the provincial qualifier. They advanced t the semi finals of the Provincial “A” Volleyball championships and lost out to the eventual champs, Elton Sabres. The girls were ranked  as high as 4th in the province. The amount of success this team has had this season is unbelievable, considering the Cartwright/Baldur co-op total high school population is 67 students. 

Riley also coaches cross country, baseball and track and field.
