Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Justin Ejercito of the William Morton Warriors basketball team in Gladstone.

This 5’7” guard led the Warriors varsity team to a Zone 7 “A” title with 32 points and 12 assists. Running the offense and defense for the varsity team while in only grade 10.   He also helped lead his Junior Varsity team to a Zone 7 and Provincial Championship where, he was named a provincial all-star. Coach Donovan Nemetchek states, “Nicest kid you'll ever meet with a terrific handle and finish around the basket. Real game changer. Truly has a passion for the game with excellent sportsmanship”.

This grade 10 student maintains an 88% academic average, while also participating in volleyball, and track & field.
