Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Kate Knight of the St. Boniface Centurions badminton team.

This 5’4” ladies singles player captured the gold medal at the zone 12 Junior Varsity Badminton Championships going undefeated.  Coach Brad Scott states, “Kate is an outstanding athlete who always strives to be the best in any sport that she plays. Any time she is on the court she is ready to play and never gives up on any point”.

In grade 10, she maintains an 88% academic average, while also participating in basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track & field.
