Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athletes of the Week are Grace Slivinski & Amanda Losier of the St. Boniface Centurions badminton team.

These 5’5” ladies went undefeated in the Zone 12 JV Girl Doubles Badminton Championships to win the gold medal.  Coach Brad Scott states, “The girls have worked extremely hard at improving their in game strategy and all of the hard work has paid off. Practicing every morning at 7:00 am showed how committed they are and their positive attitudes was great for the entire team”.

In grade 10, they also participating in basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track & field.
