Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Ryan McMillan of the Miles Macdonell Buckeyes golf team. 

This 5’7” golfer led the Buckeyes to victory at the KPAC and Provincial Golf Championships, shooting a 72 and 73 respectively.  Coach Karl Schroeder states” Ryan is as tough a competitor as I have ever known. His ability to manufacture a good result regardless of conditions or the state of his game is well beyond his young years. He will be a golfer to watch in coming years. Most importantly he is also a great teammate and citizen of Miles Macdonell.”

In grade 11, he maintains an 88% academic average.
