Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Drew Duncan of the Miles Macdonell Buckeyes volleyball team.

This 5’10” libero helped lead the Buckeyes to a second place finish at the KPAC Championships and Final Four berth in the Boston Pizza Volleyball Championships.  During the year he was selected as an all-star at the University of Winnipeg, Dalhousie, St. Vital and Selkirk tournaments.  Coach Tim Au states, “Drew has a sense of maturity and leadership and is well respected among his teammates and peers.  He has a great court presence and takes control of our back row.”

In grade 12, he maintains a 75% academic average, while also participating in golf and badminton.
