Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Paige Donald of the Crocus Plains Plainsmen basketball team.

This 5’10”point guard had a great performance in the Plainsmen’s league game against Vincent Massey (Bdn) where she scored 22 points to go along with 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. She is currently averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds.  Coach Adam Hartman states, “Paige has been instrumental in leading her Plainsmen varsity team to their successful start to the season. She is a talented point guard that can run a smooth offense as well be a scoring threat from both the inside and out. “

In grade 12, she maintains a 95% academic average, while also participating in volleyball and fastpitch.
