Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Rural High School Athletes of the Week are Jake Ledochowski & Mark Shinnie of the Teulon Saints badminton team.

The 5’11” Ledochowski and 5’10” Shinnie have had a great start to the badminton season winning the boys doubles at the Carman, Maples and Stonewall tournaments.  Coach Rod Ledochowski state, “It is so easy to coach athlete like Mark and Jake that love the sports they play, these two love badminton.”

Both are in grade 12 and maintain a 90% average. Ledochowski also participates in cross-country, volleyball and track, while Shinnie also participates in track.
