Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Jonah Lorenzana of the St. Boniface Centurions badminton team.

The 5’5” boys singles player was the Zone 12 Junior Varsity Boys Singles Badminton Championship.  Coach Brad Scott states, “Jonah has a tremendous attitude and never gives up on any point. He works hard in every practice, and is always helping others improve their skills as well. His great work ethic has proven to be one of his biggest advantages.”

Lorenzana in grade 10 maintains a 90% average, while also participating in volleyball, basketball, and track & field.
