Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Tire Recycle Urban Athlete of the Week is Brendan Labossiere of the Stonewall Rams Baseball team.

This 5’10” pitcher and center fielder led the Stonewall Rams to a Zone 5 Baseball Championship. He started the zone final on the mound, and recorded the win. He also had 2 hits and an RBI to contribute to the team success.  Coach Kyle Nixon states, “Brendan is talented and hardworking, but his best quality is the type of person he is and how he carries himself on and off the field. His leadership and respect for his teammates bring out the best in himself and his team.”

In grade 12, he maintains a 90% academic average, while also participating in track & field and hockey.
