Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Powerland Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Andrew Sigurdson of the Miles Macdonell Buckeyes volleyball team.

This 5’10” left side has led the Buckeyes to a current top 5 ranking in “AAAA” Volleyball.  He is the team’s top server, passer and attacker.  Coach Tim Au states, “Andrew is a great leader both on and off the court. Andrew brings forward a strong sense of focus in every game and is well respected by his teammates”.

In grade 12, he maintains a 96% academic average, while also participating in basketball.
