Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Powerland Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Ryan Hassar of the Glenlawn Lions hockey team.

This 6’5” left wing is leading the Winnipeg High School Hockey League in scoring. He has 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points in 9 games this season, helping lead the Lions to 5-2-2 record. Coach Dean Rigeaux states, “Ryan has improved immensely and is becoming a dominating scorer and an outstanding leader."

In grade 12, he maintains an 80% academic average, while also participating in basketball.
