Payworks Coach of the Month

Lia Plante – Coach of Nellie McClung Stingers in Manitou, Manitoba has been selected as the Subway rural Coach of the Month for December. Lia has been coaching volleyball at Nellie McClung for a number of years and over the past 5 years has been a part of 4 Provincial “A” Volleyball Championship teams. She spends countless hours on the road with the team and at practices, and as a result of this she has had to balance taking of many hours of time from her work to dedicate to the team and the development of the athletes. Lia is a very positive influence for the girls she has coached over the years and a tremendous contributor to the Stingers Volleyball Program.
