Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Powerland Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Jillian Duncan of the Linden Christian Wings basketball team.

This 5’11” guard/forward helped lead her team to a second-place finish at the St. Norbert tournament.  She averaged 28 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists per game in the tournament.  Coach Jason Klassen states, “Jill strives to be a great player, on and off the court. She has a great work ethic mixed with the determination to always see herself and the rest of the team improve”. 

This Grade 12 student maintains an 85% academic average, while also participating in volleyball and track & field.
