Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Powerland Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Natalya Reimer of the Westgate Wings basketball team.

This 5’10” guard was an All-Star at the Swan Valley Tournament, helped lead Westgate to a third place finish at the Bill McDonald tournament in The Pas, and second place finishes at Swan Valley and Sanford.  She is averaging 23.4 points per game this season. Coach Jennifer How states, “Natalya is one of those players who leads by doing on the court. She works hard at improving all aspects of her game and her conditioning is important to her. She makes those around her better, and while being a scorer, is always looking for ways for her teammates to score”. 

This Grade 12 student maintains a 94% academic average, while also participating in cross country and volleyball.
