Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Raena Walder of the Rosenort Redhawks volleyball team.

Raena is a co-captain of the Rosenort RedHawks Senior Varsity girl’s team. She has been instrumental in the team's success this season, which includes two tournament victories. She is a tremendous setter and is able to read the defence and distribute the ball to effectively form an attack. Raena also takes time to coach younger girls who are interested in playing volleyball. Her knowledge and love of volleyball are inspirational to those she competes with.

Raena is a grade 12 student and maintains an average of over 90%.
