Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Kyler Filewich of the Vincent Massey Trojans basketball team.

This 6’8” post led the Trojans to their first Milk "AAAA" Boys Provincial title in school history.  In the finals he posted 26 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists, earning him the Championship MVP honors.  Coach Nick Lother states, "Size, skill and decision making makes him a nightmare to guard.  He can score in a variety of ways both inside and on the perimeter, most dominant presence in the province."

In grade 12 he also participates in football.
