Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Rural High School Athlete of the Week is Melissa Moran of the Gilliam Timberwolves.

A multi-sport athlete she recently competed in the High School Frontier Games in Cranberry Portage, where she captured gold in cross country and gold in the JV Girls Singles Badminton.  Coach Blair McCulloch states, "Melissa is a great athlete and leader in our JV sports programming in Gillam. She competes in all sports that we participate in and she is consistently the MVP on our teams. We are very fortunate to have at our school the athlete, student and role-model that Melissa is".

An honor role student she participates, in cross country, badminton, basketball and volleyball.
