Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Urban High School Athlete of the week is Stephen Cheng of the Vincent Massey Trojans badminton team.

Cheng competes in boys doubles along with partner Anthony Tan.  During the season they finished second in the Gimli tournament, in the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference, and in the MHSAA Provincial Badminton Championships.  Coach Joanne Goodwin states, "Stephen has been a strong leader all 3 years in high school badminton. He is an exceptional role model on and off of the court, mentoring other players, & helping where ever there is a need". 

He maintains a high academic standing, currently having an average of 98%.
