Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Anthony Tan of the Vincent Massey Trojans badminton team.

Tan along with his boys doubles partner, Stephen Cheng, finished second in the Gimli tournament, in the West Winnipeg Athletic Conference, and in the MHSAA Provincial Badminton Championships.  Coach Joanne Goodwin states, "Anthony is an exceptional, hard-working badminton player. He has been a leader throughout his 3 years with Massey Badminton. Anthony consistently shares his expertise with others and has made a tremendous difference for our team. We are looking forward to having both Anthony and Stephen coaching next year".

Tan is an exceptional student maintaining an academic average of 98%.
