Payworks Coach of the Month

The coaching team of Barry Dowsett, Riley Barrett and Steve Dyce guided a group of high school boys to the A-AAA Provincial Soccer Championship by building on individual skills and emphasizing the power of working as a team. Their work with the boys began in the fall of 2018 by literally building a team as there were only nine players on the sign up list on the first day of school. The approach of the coaches, which emphasized their love of the game, included bringing together a group of athletes with a wide-variety of soccer skills so that they could function smoothly as a team.
