Winnipeg Jets Alumni and Friends Hockey Scholarships

Jacob Heapy of the Rivers/Elton Collegiate Rams is the male recipient. Jacob entered the season with a team described as “weak”, and in spite of this, was dedicated and remained solid and dependable. He played hard and worked hard and was rewarded by his team with the “C”. Jacob also participates in Soccer, Badminton and participates in Track. He is Co-President of the student council and leader of the school “Me-to-We” group and participates in intra murals sports. He coaches Junior High Badminton and is part of the MHSAA Champions Cross Mentoring program at the school.
