Payworks Coach of the Month

Angie Gudnason is an extremely dedicated and hardworking coach. She has been coaching varsity girls volleyball for close to 20 years and has taken many teams to the Provincial Championships. She puts in countless hours and never says no to a player who wants to spend extra time working on their skills. She comes in mornings and weekends to work with students and provides extra practice opportunities for students above her already scheduled time. Angie is patient and caring and she is always providing feedback to her players in practice and from the sidelines. She is a natural coach and could not be a better role model to her players. 

Angie is very giving of her time to any sport program, and not only coaches volleyball but also coaches softball in addition to various middle years sport teams throughout the year. She builds incredible relationships with her players built on respect and trust, and creates a positive environment that allows players to grow and develop while feeling supported. For such a small community Glenboro School feels that their students are very lucky to have such an incredible coach and mentor.
