Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Urban High School Athlete of the Week is Udhay Chatha of the Vincent Massey Trojans volleyball team.

Udhay recently led the Trojans to a semi-final appearance at the Royal Spike-off and helped his team earn 3 wins to get off to a 3-3 start in the competitive WWAC tier 1 volleyball league.  Coach Marshall Jones states, "Udhay is a fierce competitor, exceptional teammate and talented volleyball player.  He is a dominant force at the net as both a middle blocker and spiker.  Udhay has a drive to learn and improve and is constantly looking for ways to get better, but also takes pride in his ability to lead and help his teammates."   

This grade 12 student maintains a 90% academic average, while also competing in soccer.
