Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Reese Loewen of the Stonewall Rams volleyball team.

Reese is an outstanding left side player, who was instrumental in the Rams success this past week with her dominant play. The Rams picked up victories over John Taylor and Sturgeon Heights in WWAC action.  She then continued her dominant play at the Virden tournament helping the Rams capture the Championship.  Coach Curtis Grieve states, "Reese is a leader on the team.  She is an exceptional passer and defender, while also leading us offensively with her ability to attack using a variety of shots. She is a force in all aspects of the game and can sets the tone with her big serve." 

This grade 12 student maintains a 90% academic average.
