Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Connor Machum of the West Kildonan Wolverines football team.  

Connor had a very successful season on the field with a stat line of 38/62 Passing, a 61% completion rate, 984 yards passing, 9 TDs to 1 INT.  He also ran for 239 yards and 2 TDS while leading the West Kildonan Wolverines to the WHSFL Division 3 Championship!  Coach Russell Wallace states, "Connor is a 4 year high school football player who has shown dedication to the sport of football at practice, games and in the offseason. He has not missed a single practice or game for our football program. As our starting QB for the last 3 years, he has taking the responsibility on his shoulders and has organized off season player workouts and stayed late working on his skill." 

This grade 12 student maintains an 80% academic average.
