Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Luke Tyslau of the Miles Macdonell Hockey team.

In his second year playing Buckeyes hockey he has led the team to a 8-10-2 record on the season. He recently helped the Buckeyes secure a 4-2 win over Garden City and in 20 games has posted 5 goals, 6 assists, with 1 power play marker and 2 short handed goals.  Coach Gordon Fritzsche states, "Luke has shown significant improvement and is one of the smartest, most enthusiastic, and most coachable players in the league. He does all the small things, is a key penalty killer, and has scored two huge shorthanded goals this season."

In grade 12 he maintains an 80% academic average.
