Payworks Coach of the Month

Steve Hudyma is a one-of-a-kind coach of our varsity girls basketball team.

He truly captures every positive moment of the team and capitalizes on it. He never discourages the team players individually and always encourages them on how they can improve on their mistakes. He has taken each player aside, described their attributes to the team, and encouraged them to always try their best. His positive attitude reflects their play in each and every game. The players always embrace his strategy, and the team has become stronger after each game. Watching the team members develop and connect over the years has been such a pleasurable experience. Even during Covid, he has allowed the team to play when they can or analyze games to improve upon and develop better skills for the game. His connection to the team members has been such a positive experience in making each and every one of them feel like a big part of the team and has been such a positive influence on their mental health and self-esteem.  

His passion for the sport is evident, and it has enhanced the love of the game for the players of this team. His coaching abilities are indescribable in terms of his positivity to the sport and the team.
