Payworks Coach of the Month

Dean Goodbrandson led his Royals varsity boys basketball team to a KPAC Tier 2 championship title, going undefeated in league play and achieving an overall 17 - 2 record this year. Despite pandemic interruptionsand weather disruptions, Dean was able to instill a strong work ethic and discipline in his players.  This was evident from the consistent play on both the offensive and defensive sides of the court.  He helped his players develop individual skills along while also building team tactics. Dean, an Royals alum himself, has invested countless early mornings, evenings, and weekends in order to promote the game of basketball at Lord Selkirk.
