Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Miles Gordon of the Pilot Mound Pilots track & field team. 

Gordon had an outstanding day at the Zone 6 Track & Field Championships.  He finished 1st in the 100m in a time of 11.61, the 200m in a zone record time of 24.21, the Hurdles in a time of 17.44 and the 4x100M in a time of 49.53.  Coach Isaac Friesen states, "Miles shows up to classes and excels in class every day, he also works very hard at practice every day and strives to get better".

This grade 10 student also participates in baseball, while maintaining an 89% academic average.
