AAAA Girls Athlete of the Year

With a 94% academic average, Ayva participated in basketball and track & field. She was named Vincent Massey Athlete of the Year and has been named an All-Star at several tournaments and her team was ranked 3^rd for Provincials. She was a member of the Basketball Manitoba All Manitoba team, a graduating All-Star, and named an MHSAA Athlete of the Week. She participated in javelin, discus and shot put for track & field. She is a student representative of the MHSAA Board of Directors, Vice-President of the school Grad Committee, has organized fundraisers, is part of the school band program, organized a sports equipment drive, is a member of the school’s Key Club, and has volunteered at Harvest Manitoba. Ayva has received the MTS Young Humanitarian Award, the Jon Gerard Citizenship Award, the Hawk Award for Leadership, the Carl Ridd Award, and the University of Manitoba Queen Elizabeth Entrance Scholarship. Ayva was also a recipient of the 2022 Manitoba’s Credit Unions Scholar Athlete Award.
