Athlete of the Year

Overall Boys Athlete of the Year & AAA Boys Athlete of the Year

Sam participated in volleyball, cross country, basketball, and soccer while maintaining a 93% academic average. He was a member of the cross country team that won bronze at the Provincial Cross Country Championships, as well as SCAC Champions. His volleyball team went undefeated and were the SCAC AAAA and MHSAA AAAA Provincial Champions. He was a recipient of the Dr. Dale Iwanoczko Memorial Scholarship, Dennis Nord Award, St. Vital Invitational tournament MVP, SCAC Tier 1 MVP, and ranked as the #1 male student athlete in Manitoba for volleyball. He is a member of the student council and Westgate summer sport camps.  This summer he will be competing for the U19 Canadian National Men’s Volleyball Team.
