Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

The Dairy Farmers of Manitoba High School Athlete of the Week is Mia Dasch of the Westgate Wings volleyball team.

She was a key member of the Wings this season leading them to a SCAC "AAA" Zone Championship and this past weekend capturing the Provincial "AAA" Varsity Girls Volleyball Championship. The team went undefeated through the championships with Dasch being named the Championship MVP.  Coach Jules Martens states "Mia is one of the top all around players at any level in the province right now. She passes and plays defense at a university level already and has the ability to mix up her offensive attack."

This grade 11 student currently maintains a 96.5% academic average.
