Manitoba's Credit Unions Scholar Athlete

Sara Oswald, of Oak Park High School was a member of the Oak Park Women’s Hockey Team, Basketball team, Track and Field, Cross Country, and Rugby Team. She maintains a 95% average and advanced to the final of the “AAAA” Basketball Championships. Her Hockey Team captured the City Championship. She is involved with Student Council, Athletic Committee, Co-Chairs Special Events Committee, youth in philanthropy committee and referee’s Jr. High Volleyball. Sara states “I have learned from my coaches and fellow athletes how to be a leader, how to win, how to loose and that there is something valuable to be learned in both situations…. being a leaders isn’t always about being the most skilled player on the team….sports have always been important to me as I have created lasting friendships with coaches, teachers and fellow athletes that I will carry with me for a lifetime
